Workforce Development is training and educational programs that provide current and prospective employees with needed skills to compete in the global marketplace in high-growth, high-demand occupations. Education and training can be specific to a particular industry and include foundational topics such as conflict resolution, diversity, inclusion and belonging.

The Local Immigrant Integration and Inclusion Grant (LIIIG)
Provides funding support for the development or expansion of immigrant integration efforts, increase community trust, and enhance the organizational capacity of local governments to support immigrant populations in California.
High Road Training Partnership Resilient Workforce Program (RWP)
The California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) is pleased to announce a rolling fund to advance a field of practice that simultaneously addresses urgent questions of income inequality, economic competitiveness, and climate change through regional skills strategies designed to support economically and environmentally resilient communities across the state.
